Take your favourite high street chain, taste the coffee then multiply the flavour and the quality of the beans by 10 and you have Happy Donkey Classic Italian. Happy Donkey Classic Italian is an Espresso blend of Brazilian, Colombian, East African and Indian beans, perfectly and consistently blended by computer controlled thermostat regulated roasters. You can be sure of the same tasting Latte, Cappuccino or Espresso from every bag. This popular espresso blend contains Brazilian Robusta from the region of Mina Gerais (BSCA, Brazilian Speciality coffee Association). It also contains Colombian Supremo Robusta beans From Bucaramanga and Indian Cherry Robusta from the Bibbi Plantation in Sunticoppa. The Arabica coffee beans are Costa Rica (Terrazł) Arabica beans from the Costa Rican Central Valley High Mountains. The mix of the espresso blend is 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta the traditional mix for an Italian style blend, the very formation which has caused the coffee explosion you see in high street coffee shops today, throughout the uk. Our turnover of this coffee is such that you get the coffee freshly roasted and packed in 250G bags (even on the trade volumes) within 14 days of the coffee having been roasted. Coffee always tastes best once the gases have been allowed to escape, on the 8th day after roasting and beyond. The small 250G valve packs allow gases to escape without allowing any oxygen in and help you to use only the amount of beans you require at a time. Our Classic Italian beans make superb espresso, cappuccino, and lattes with a thick lasting crema. For those who are just starting off in the world of coffee this is an excellent blend to buy because it is so flexible, you can get some of the essential variables wrong and still end up with a great tasting beverage.
