Coffee Grinder Blades

Happy Donkey are suppliers of replacement coffee grinder blades. All prices shown are for a pair of blades.

Grinder blades work far more effectively when regularly cleaned with Puly Grind, which you can find in our machine cleaning section, we suggest that one sachet a week is used for commercial situations and one sachet a month is used in domestic situations. Puly Grind cleans up the old dried out oils on the blades or burrs which if left uncleaned, will give your coffee a bitter taste and a bad aroma.

Grinders used on a commercial basis averaging 6 kilos of use per week, will need to have their blades renewed every two years.

Grinding coffee beans evenly and consistently requires sharp blades. Over time these wear out and become less efficient at performing this task for you, so it is worthwhile keeping an eye on the situation.

You will notice that when you click on the picture for each set of blades there is a set of measurements, this is a good way to gauge whether you have the correct blades. The measurements relate to the internal and external diameter of the blades, in some cases the number of holes and the depth of each blade is also stated.

Please measure your blades before buying to help avoid disappointment. Some coffee grinder blades are known as Burrs, these are conical in shape and these tend to be more expensive than their flat blade counterparts.
